West Canada Creek Campground is a nature-focused retreat offering large campsites, outdoor activities, and peaceful riverside experiences.
While the campground already had a functioning website and was receiving bookings, the site did not fully capture the beauty and experience of staying at the campground.
The layout felt outdated, key attractions were not being highlighted effectively, and the website was not structured in a way that maximized engagement or bookings.
The objective of this project was to redesign the WIX website and migrate it into GoHighLevel, creating a modern, conversion-focused website that better represents the campground while maintaining the site's existing SEO value
First Blueprint session with the campground manager - Imrana Mouna

West Canada Creek Campground is a nature-focused retreat offering large campsites, outdoor activities, and peaceful surroundings.
The existing website was generating bookings but did not effectively communicate the experience visitors could expect at the campground.
A modern, engaging website was needed to better showcase the environment, increase trust with visitors, and encourage direct bookings.
Although the campground had an online presence, several issues limited the effectiveness of the existing website.
Some of the major challenges included:
The visual design felt outdated and lacked cohesion
The website did not fully represent the campground’s unique experience
Lack of real campground imagery reduced visitor trust
Important features like tubing and river access were not prominently highlighted
The website lacked strong calls-to-action encouraging visitors to book
The platform structure limited flexibility for future updates
Migration risk — the redesign needed to preserve existing SEO rankings
These challenges meant the website was not reaching its full potential as a marketing and booking asset.
To address these challenges, a full website redesign and migration to GoHighLevel was implemented.
The new website was designed to:
TBetter represent the natural beauty of the campground
Create a stronger emotional connection with visitors
Highlight key experiences and amenities
Improve the user journey from exploration to booking
Maintain SEO performance during migration
The entire project followed a structured process from discovery through final deployment.
The project included a complete redesign and migration into GoHighLevel.
Scope included:
Website redesign and UX improvements
Conversion-focused website structure
Responsive layout for mobile and desktop
Highlighting key campground experiences and features
Adding testimonials and real photos for credibility
Improving call-to-action placement for bookings
SEO preservation during platform migration
URL redirect setup to prevent broken links
Final testing and domain deployment
The solution focused on designing a website that communicates the experience of staying at the campground, not just listing information.
Key elements included:
Visual Storytelling
Using larger imagery and better layouts to showcase the natural beauty of the campground and help visitors imagine their stay.
Experience-Focused Messaging
Highlighting benefits such as tubing, river access, peaceful surroundings, and spacious campsites.
Conversion-Driven Layout
Strategically placing calls-to-action throughout the site to guide visitors toward booking.
Clean and Simple Design
Using white space, clear sections, and structured navigation to create a calm and welcoming browsing experience.
SEO Preservation
Conducting an SEO audit before migration and implementing redirects to maintain existing search rankings.
The first step involved analyzing the current website and identifying opportunities for improvement.
This phase focused on understanding:
What visitors are looking for when choosing a campground
Which features make the campground unique
Where the existing website was losing engagement
How the website could guide visitors toward booking
Based on this analysis, the strategy focused on visual storytelling, improved layout structure, and stronger calls-to-action.
Once the strategy was defined, the next step was translating the ideas into a structured website layout.
Wireframes were created to define:
Homepage structure
Section hierarchy
Placement of images and visual content
Call-to-action positioning
Navigation flowhat visitors are looking for when choosing a campground
Based on this analysis, the strategy focused on visual storytelling, improved layout structure, and stronger calls-to-action.

After wireframe approval, the website was built inside GoHighLevel’s website builder.
The development process focused on creating a clean, responsive layout that works well across desktop and mobile devices.
Key development elements included:
Fully responsive page layouts
Structured content sections
Large imagery to showcase the campground
Clear navigation between key pages
Strategic placement of booking calls-to-action
The website was designed to feel simple, open, and welcoming, mirroring the campground experience.

One of the major improvements involved strengthening the visual storytelling of the website.
High-quality imagery and improved layout design were used to:
Showcase the campground environment
Highlight outdoor activities
Build trust with visitors through authentic visuals
Create a stronger emotional connection
Sections were designed to guide visitors from curiosity → interest → booking action.

To improve bookings, the website structure was optimized to guide visitors toward taking action.
Key improvements included:
Strategic placement of booking calls-to-action
Clear navigation to important sections
Highlighting benefits of staying at the campground
Simplifying the visitor journey from browsing to booking
This ensures visitors always know what the next step is.
The redesigned website now supports:
Clear navigation for campground information
Improved visual storytelling through imagery
Stronger calls-to-action for bookings
Mobile-optimized browsing experience
Structured SEO metadata and internal linking
Fast loading and improved user experience
The site is now better positioned to attract and convert visitors exploring outdoor getaway options.
The new website provides:
A modern visual identity aligned with the campground experience
Improved engagement with visitors through imagery and storytelling
Clearer communication of campground features
Stronger booking flow through strategic CTAs
Preserved SEO value during migration
The redesign creates a stronger digital presence that better represents the campground and supports future growth.
